Wonderful value for an intro to Vancouver!
This was a wonderful activity for an intro to Vancouver! Andrea was communicative, warm and friendly, and provided city history highlights and background on the food/restaurant we were sampling while also setting a relaxed and enjoyable vibe. We walked away feeling full and with recommendations of must-dos in the city. It was a trip highlight for us and we highly recommend this tour! Gas Town Food Tour—
Five stops in Gas town allowed us enough in food samples to skip dinner. Our guide, Ashram, met us at the Waterfront Station and off we went. Five stops ranging from savory to sweet with allowances made for the range of dietary needs in our group of 10. We sampled sushi (raving approval by two previous naysayers), an Italian sandwich, Scotch eggs, donuts and finished with pierogis! In between we walked up and down through Gas town as Ashram filled us in on local history and architecture. The Guide, The City, The Food...
Myra was nothing short of awesome. Upbeat, funny, knowledgeable of Vancouver history as well as the food the city offers. We recently enjoyed the Gastown food experience with Arsham. The food choices were excellent, the knowledge about the area was exceptional, our guide Arsham gave us lots of information not only about the food but also the area. Exceptional Gastown food tour
My wife and I had a great experience on this food tour which was a combination of great tasing food, historical introductions to Gastown and a nice walk on a beautiful day. But what made the tour exceptional was our amazing guide Myra who was full of energy, loves the city and loves food… she was very engaging and knowledgeable and made the tour an experience we will not forget…. Fabulous Food Tour from Landon!
